Shared Inspiration is our local quilt groups theme for the year. I get inspired every time I go to quilt group....and the running joke in our circle is that it "puts us in the mood" (to sew that is). Flora, the leader of our group, introduced the theme for the year by sharing some of her inspirations.
What inspires us at Riley Blake Designs. We find inspiration everywhere. Our Designers have to top the list. When we are reviewing artwork, certain designs leap off the page and we know that it will make great fabric. We are asked all the time about how we choose our designs and it is simply that we are inspired by a design and then work with the artist and prepare their design for fabric production.
Pattern designers inspire us too. They take our fabric and create incredible works of art. ....And of course we love bloggers. I get in trouble for how many hours I spend hopping from blog to blog. I love reading about fabric, food, family, friends and stories of faith. Inspiring.
We love our stores and customers that continue to support Riley Blake designs. We are inspired when we visit stores and see finished projects hanging on walls and our bolts of fabric lined up on shelves. We want to thank our many facebook fans that add pictures of finished product on facebook and flickr pages. And finally nothing is better than being out and about and seeing our fabric on clothing, a blanket or in a bag. Keep creating and we will keep designing.
